So Bill Kristol mentioned that other nations would be dismayed at the way Rex Tillerson was fired (neglecting to mention the facts that Tillerson was notified last Friday, before the tweet on Tuesday announcing his firing).
Wasn’t there a podcast somewhere recently discussing how lame it is for any country to be concerned what other countries think about efforts to promote its own national interests? I can’t remember which podcast that was.
Bill Kristol’s irrational anti-Trumpism sounded slightly less irrational than usual this morning. That’s good.
A lot of Trump supporters I have spoken with hold the GOP Congress in disdain and see them as do nothing promise breakers for the most part. I can’t see them enthusiastically running to the polls to elect or re-elect them. Add the people with that sentiment to the many who would vote for any democrat to demonstrate their disgust with Trump and you have trouble for the GOP.
For you Israel P., I’ll make it FIVE hymns!
