Michael, it isn’t your speculation that Republicans will likely lose seats in 2018 that’s annoying. It’s the glee in your voice when you speculate that’s annoying.
It’s not glee! It’s “what did you expect?” I try to emphasis again and again that historic forces are at work (first midterm of a POTUS) beyond the power of GOP to control. Having said that, a POTUS at <40% approval is a fiasco. Trump fans can’t simultaneously celebrate the behavior that keeps him at <40% and then complain that we’re pointing out the midterm consequences.
Michael, I love your podcast, but i think you choice of Gabriel Malor to “explain” Memogate 101 was a terrible choice. This guy simply spewed left wing talking points with no new data or introspective analysis. You get an “F” on this choice.
I gotta say, sounds gleeful to me. But I do come back to listen. So, you got that going for you.

I don’t want MemoGate explained by a true believer. I want a skeptic. He did a good job presenting the “it’s nothing” argument, which is why I found it telling when he had less than satisfactory answers to my questions. I thought he revealed quite a bit about the real standing of the story.
