Why Didn’t “Charlie’s Angels” Just Fly Away?

The attractive young women Charlie Rose hired to work for him were sometimes called “Charlie’s Angels.” At least eight of them now say he touched them, flashed them and generally treated them terribly. They are not responsible for his (alleged) despicable behavior. But they ARE responsible for choosing to stay and take it. Aren’t they?

Plus:

Ladies, if Charlie Rose offers you a “Crusty Paw,” it’s NOT something he just picked up at Au Bon Pain;

A leading Congressional Democrat is the latest to get outed as a low-rent perv.

What really happened to those two Border Patrol agents and why isn’t anyone talking?

And Lois Lerner really doesn’t want you to know what she did at the IRS.

    How do these guys get to the kind of gross behavior of which they have been plausibly accused? By baby steps.

    As a matter of course, men constantly test boundaries and limits. In other words, if they get away with just a little bit the first time, they try just a bit more the next time, and the next, and the next.

    A note to victims: We live in an age of small recording devices. If a boss behaves inappropriately, record his behavior the next time.

    By the way, note that the victims in these situations are attractive and young almost 100% of the time. The oft-repeated assertion that it’s all about power, not sex, is obvious nonsense. Power just helps you get away with it.

    When Bill Clinton raped Juanita Broaddrick, he wasn’t interested in asserting his power over her, which as Attorney General of Arkansas it was obvious he had, but in having sex with an attractive woman without bothering to go through the labor of seduction. “I’m a busy man,“ I can almost hear him saying. “Let’s cut to the chase!”

    50 years ago when I was applying to college, the Ivies were known for their Catholic and Jewish quotas. In those days, it was an ideology of stone religious/cultural bigotry (“NOKD”), not an ideology of “diversity”, which amounts to a form of NOKD.
