A funny thing happened to America’s libertarian movement – it expected a champion to emerge in the 2016 election; it may or may not have one in Donald Trump. Richard Epstein, the Hoover Institution’s Peter and Kirsten Bedford Senior Fellow and the voice behind “The Libertarian” podcast, grades the Trump presidency from a libertarian vantage.

It is interesting that so many thought Regan reduced the size of government. Epstein is the only one I have heard say  “second derivative”.  He reduced the rate at which government was growing.   Regan also said something like the closest thing to eternal was a government program, and Richard is correct, that Regan’s folksy way hid a deep thinker.

You are correct in everything you say, except that it was Ronald Reagan!
