If the title “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse” refers to Kevin’s article “We’ll Always Have … Fort Worth?”, I remember reading from Kevin this sentence:

“On cable-news shows, on talk radio, and at conservative conferences, conservatives talk about London and Paris as though they sit on the lower circles of Dante’s hellscape. … They may look like perfectly nice, cultured, thriving world cities on the outside…”

Paris burning is not a circle of Dante’s hellscape?

It’s a bit like like Andrew Klavan’s clip regarding the English doomsdayer.

“(The people) are behind you, along with civil society… Supporting you in making tough decisions but also willing to make sacrifices in their daily lives.” — Sir David Attenborough

    Paris votes “No!”

Great podcast. Sorry the cruise edition got lost at sea. FWIW, Charlie, I did not think you were being conceited in talking about living near the beach but that you were expressing great appreciation for your setup. Kevin’s interest in factories and such is really cool to me. But, more like Charlie, I like to go home at night.

Anyway, here’s to the New Orleans Saints going all the way to the Super Bowl–and beyond!

It is rare in movies for people to move from the city to the country? Charlie isn’t watching the Hallmark Channel.
