With his superficial and knee-jerk responses to Donald Trump, Kevin Williamson is hopelessly outclassed by Charles C.W. Cooke.

Williamson and Cooke are both intellectuals; that is to say, words are their only product.

However, Cooke is wise enough to understand that Trump is a political leader, not an intellectual. He is to be judged, first of all, on his deeds, and only secondarily on his words.

Cooke still gets it wrong sometimes, but he is an anti-Trumper whom I can respect.
