Does Jay Nordlinger think it should be pronounced short-līved? How curious!

I discovered David Icke when a friend who is enthusiastic about psychedelic drugs gave me one of his books. I flipped through it and didn’t read much antisemitism. To be fair, I might have missed it because I was much more fascinated by his theory that inter-dimensional space demons, based on/around Saturn, use the moon as an amplifier to project negative rays at the Earth. Which was really something.

My personal conspiracy theory, which I have no evidence for, is that Icke discovered one of the high-society pedophile rings in the UK, and to discredit him someone in the ring started slipping him hallucinogens and psychedelic drugs. He saw visions that led him to (by his own account) take a lot more, and went downhill from there.

Kevin, just so’s you know – the term you were looking for is “falconry” (not “falcon hunting”). I have heard of this – raptors being trained to take down drones – but don’t know any fellow falconers doing this. I sure would be worrying about the rotors slicing off my bird’s toes, so I will definitely not be pursuing that!
