Congratulations to Charles for casting his first vote as a newly minted American citizen.

There was a lull in the conversation after Charles and Kevin agreed not to talk about the Pittsburgh massacre. One topic I might have liked to hear is news about Charles’ little ones (am I right that there are two now?): what milestones have he/they reached recently?

They push the whole vote by mail thing here in Florida. I don’t want to pay the postage though, so I just drop it off at the local court house since it’s close to work.

    Re the confusion about substituting x for y (as opposed to y for x) c. minute 28, I think it’s partly a British-dialect thing.
