This week on the UK’s Fastest Growing Podcast™ Messrs. Delingpole and Young get a little contentious. After reviewing the week’s Covid news they turn their attention to the US Presidential election and words fly. Words such as “Tesla,” “shotgun,” “fragging” and the “C-word.”

Things get so heated the bleep machine gets pulled out. Crikey.

On the cultural front this week’s recommendations include The Ides of March, Baron Noir, When Heroes Fly and Suburra. One of these is in English, too. (That is, if you call what the Americans speak English.)

Our opening sound for this episode is from the PM’s virtual appearance in the House on Monday – where things did not go well technically.

When I was a lad I learned that ketosis is a bad thing for milk cows, but really didn’t understand why.  Just saying.

As I understand it ketosis is when the body uses fat as an energy source instead of the glucose level in the blood. It can make you lose weight but there are risks to the heart and kidneys. But the fine print on my WebMD degree says to always defer to @drbastiat.

In cows it happens and the animal wastes away and is unable to produce milk for its young.

Why would James want to get any thinner? Frankly I prefer the (somewhat) plumb Toby myself.

There may be a small chance that James is correct about Trump being able to get the election results reverse, but there is an infinitely smaller chance that Toby is correct about election fraud being equal or similar among Democrats and Republicans.  Democrats have always been the party of voter fraud and voter corruption.  The only exception might have been in some of the post-Civil War decades when the Democrats were largely wiped out, and the Republicans even gained control of some of the big cities.  Big city mob machine politics and Southern Jim Crow segregation have always made the Democrats the party of voter fraud.
