Greg and Jim are both here! Today, they welcome a Supreme Court decision extolling the importance of honoring the verdict of the people in each state during presidential elections.  They also shudder as China reports at least one case of the bubonic plague. And they have fun with the NBA allowing “personalized” messages on players’ jerseys that must come from a pre-approved list of messages.

I like how China and the Plague is a crazy martini.

Greg barely touched on the idea that just a $1,000 fine on “faithless electors” might be insufficient to get people to do the right thing.  I can easily see a lot of people being willing to cough up $1,000 each if they think it will get rid of Trump.

More importantly, those faithless electors should have their vote cancelled and be replaced with someone who does as they’re supposed to.  Just fining them $1,000 is completely insufficient, if their improper vote is allowed to stand.
