The volume on this episode is much lower than usual. I’ve tried it on 2 devices, and even with the volume turned all the way up, it’s marginal. @max or @blueyeti, can this be corrected?

    Too funny!

    Our best Thanksgiving horror story:

The bird had only been in the oven for a couple of hours, when we discovered our septic tank had started to back up. We called a septic service, and they sent this young guy who dug up the lid to the tank. When he opened it, the contens practically gushed out all over him. Apparently the tank had gotten pressurized by all the nasty stuff inside. The problem went away, and we could safely flush again.

Fast forward to Monday morning. I showed up at work, and of course everyone was using the “How was your Thanksgiving” conversation starter. I asked that to one of our secretaries, and she said, “Thanksgiving went well, but my daughter’s boyfriend got called into work, so he didn’t eat with us.”

“Oh really?” I said. “What does he do?”

She replied, “He works for a septic tank service. These poor people had a problem with their tank. He called us and said he’d finished the job, but wasn’t going to join us for dinner because he got covered in s__ and couldn’t get the smell out.”

It was all I could do to keep from laughing. Of course, I never told her the truth . . .

We ended up getting sick and snowed in so we just ate #shadowthanksgiving as actual Thanksgiving.
