I have a pet theory that eating berries – particularly Blackberries or Raspberries – every morning has kept me well when the rest of my family has gotten colds or flus. There have been several times where that has happened and each time I had regularly been eating berries. The times that I have gotten sick, I had gotten off of my berries routine.

I also do recommend flu shots but some years have missed it and my berry regimen has not failed me even during those years.

So, based on my extremely scientific sample of one person, start eating blackberries (or raspberries) every day mixed with strawberries and you will become invincible.

Volume was a bit low in this podcast, but totally enjoy it (even with the jet engine noise over the Atlantic)!

This was a very good podcast. Sex, death and cheez whiz are all great topics.

Sex, death and cheez whiz would also be a great name for an Appalachian rockabilly album that sings about grinding poverty and the tendency of that poverty and disfunction to give rise to a culture of loose sex.

I hardly ever get sick.  Certainly not every winter.  I attribute it to medicinal scotch.

I disagree with forcing vaccinations via government force or coercion.  Requesting compliance by persuasion and making good arguments is fine but forcing people to pollute their blood, especially by government regulation is a bridge too far.  Freedom over one’s body and blood is more important than herd immunity.
