I live in an old house with old, narrow pipes. My mom gave me a great tip for clogged sinks, which I’m so grateful for & will now share with you guys: call Roto Rooter 1st before you call a plumber! They respond quickly, are relatively inexpensive, and have cleared the drain every time I’ve called them (which is 2 or 3 times over the past decade). You still might need a plumber later, but at least your sink works in the meantime. My mom has a kitchen sink that has a section of old narrow pipe in a hard to get at spot, and she has calls Roto Rooter when it backs up every couple years (she says it’s cheaper than having it replaced, lol!)
