This week: Governor Pence and religious freedom in Indiana, Obama Corporate Tax Reform Would Cut 35% Rate To 34% (guess what Larry thinks of that). Why are we making any deal with Iran? And finally, according the to Declaration of Independence, we get our rights from God, not the federal government as both Ted Cruz and Chris Christie said this last week. Larry and Tim kick that around in preparation for Easter.

Tim “Say what mean and mean what you say” Pawlenty weaseled all around the “wedding cake” question. The question of whether a person can be compelled by the state to act counter to his/her religiously informed conscience.
He digressed into the question of employment discrimination, which is not at issue. He tossed out the blazing non-sequitur of not having the liberty to shoot off a machine gun in a crowded city.
Feh.
Gentlemen: I can’t believe neither of you knew that “gander” is a male goose.
Yes, Pawlenty made self-professed squish Rob Long look positively rabid with that demonstration of squishiness. Very disappointing.
Late on listening but almost fell off my exercise bike. Not hard to see why Tim didn’t make it to even third tier of Presidential hopefuls. The only time he showed any emotion was blurting out he had signed some anti-discrimination law in the 1990s. Another perfectly correct Repub from the great state of MN.
Pawlenty sounded like an idiot. Nobody said they would refuse to sell an item to gays. They said they refused to provide a professional service they regarded as a participatory act in a wedding they morally opposed.
