The podcast lasted all of about 3 minutes and then repeated Troy’s introductory statement before it shut off completely. Not cool!

Gentlemen – so now that Mitt dropped out we have pivoted from who is more awesome Mitt or Jeb to who is more awesome Jeb or Scott? This actually surprised me as I would have bet on picking Chris C. over Walker.

Here is my suggestion…….get out of Manhattan and DC for a few days and see if you can find three conservatives or libertarians willing to support Jeb. We have around 315 million people in this country and the republic could use the next president not having the surname Bush or Clinton. That should still leave 314,900,000 or more options.

    Thanks for an interesting podcast.

Go to Arizona and the Goldwater Institute where you will find supporters of Jeb.  I have found some in Texas and here in Baton Rouge, LA.

KH – fair point, there are bubbles outside the Wall street K street corridor. Living in Chicago, I can attest to that. So, let me expand from geography and say how many people outside big finance, government, lobbyists, and think tanks think Jeb can win?

Their mindset is based on polls and models and not reality. They think the base will all vote for him, having no other place to go, and he will peel off enough independents to win.

We have seen this movie and this is not how it works. You need a candidate who inspires and energizes people, otherwise, too much of the base will stay home, you don’t give independents anything to vote for, and you lose 53 to 47

If you can’t exercise the power of the purse, there is no power of the purse.

If the polling place wasn’t around the corner, it wouldn’t be worth the effort to go there in 2016.  Do you really think you can muster up 51% of the population who hasn’t been corrupted by the immoral entitlement state or turned off by the conservative-bashing centrist republicans?

I noted with disgust how Kudlow and Pawlenty glossed over the presence of a large community of Somalis in Minnesota. They’re refugees, the former governor said, brought over with the aid of “faith-based” groups. Neither legal nor illegal immigrants, but perfectly legal refugees.

This kind of weak-kneed thinking is reprehensible and is what is killing the GOP. Theses East Africans may be refugees, but they have absolutely no business in the United States of America. They certainly should not have preferred status. If anything their background, cultural and religious, makes them less desirable than most other applicants in the world.

They are here because transformational Leftists in the State Department and other federal agencies are funding so-called faith-based groups, who are nothing more than left-wing fronts, to advocate for and sponsor these refugees from internecine and tribal strife. The main qualification the Somalis bring to the table is that they are about as far from contemporary American as you can get – which is precisely the idea.

The church groups which are acting as fronts are not supporting their own efforts through bake-sales, raffles and the collection plate, although that is what the Leftists would have you think – and apparently have succeeded with Kudlow and Pawlenty. They get 99% of their money from the US taxpayer through the federal government and work at a nice profit for themselves, bringing in a bunch of tribal Muslims and animists, pretending to “re-settle” them for the a few months, and then moving on to “sponsor” the next batch of Third Worlders the government agencies want Americans to accept.

Google Ann Corcoran of Refugee Resettlement Watch for the truth of this whole sick charade.

These open-borders nincompoop Republicans make me puke.

Today America needs fewer legal immigrants, no illegal immigrants and no refugees of any kind, from any place.
