I loved the Arizona politics deep dive. The LDS impact on the diaspora states is so important. The people who want to turn Boise into another Portland have no clue Mormon cultural norms are what make it pleasant: cut your hair and your grass (the lawn kind) smile, don’t cuss in public, and keep it down at night because people around here work.
I deal with the fallout from The Portland Way every day at my job at a homeless shelter. I’m hard on my millennials, who do indeed usually start off as terrible employees, but at least they’re getting a clue about the Free To Be You and Me lies they’ve been told all their lives.
Fine, fine post, Ambrrianne.
It’s a sad day in that I coach comedy improv and dropped this as a reference and no one I was playing with knew what this was.
But it’s a nice pull
My millennial daughter does ComedySportz. We raised her and her siblings right Mel Brooks-wise, but I’m pretty sure Marlo Thomas didn’t make the cut so she’d be clueless too. What improv?
Thank you.
Great show as always guys- really nice to hear Starflyer get some love!
