Robert Mueller ended his investigation into Trump/Russian collusion without any new indictments. Bill Barr submitted his summary to Congress showing no collusion. Jon and Stephen review the latest and wonder why the media failed so hard for so long.

It felt good to listen to Stephen lower the boom on the media. The deserve every bit of it!
On the media and the Democrats, but I repeat myself. And also on Fox News with the exception of Brett Baier.
@2:16…those on the Right were correct to condemn Mueller. He ruined the lives of people for either A] nothing or B] process crimes that would never have come to light were it not for the fact that Democrats and their press officers in the media were embarrassed by their 2016 loss. Their crime was working for Trump.
He should have proactively exonerated Trump and recommended legal action against DOJ and IC personnel who perpetuated this farce.
That Mueller told the truth in his conclusions is not deserving of gleeful approbation. That’s his JOB. Whaddya want, a cookie? We found ONE high-ranking DC functionary in this whole ordeal who wasn’t completely corrupt. This has paralyzed our foreign policy, crippled certain domestic policy initiatives and helped the Dems take the House as well as serve as taxpayer-supported fundraising for their party.
Clinton “colluded” with Russia and Ukraine to win an election; an assertion for which we have a GREAT DEAL more evidence than the allegations against Trump. I am about 1000% sure that if she won the 2016 election this investigation and media-driven hysteria would not. have. happened.
Unless and until that asymmetry is addressed, MAGA will endure and grow and thoughtful people will join the camp of a reality TV star who usually lost money on real estate deals.
That’s an interesting prediction about the SDNY indictment.
I found Stephen’s praise of the Mueller investigation disgusting.
We may like the result. We may now believe that the investigation was not a strictly partisan witch hunt. But the conduct of the investigation was terrible in so many ways. It has ruined witnesses lives, their finances, their reputations. The 39 process indictments are shocking.
Listen to those who were cleared. Listen to, for example, Jerome Corsi who has been living in fear of indictment because he refused to lie as the investigators demanded.
I liked the conclusions summarized the Attorney General, but I cannot stomach praise of Mueller or his investigators for their what they did in the process.
