I would contend that it’s easy to communicate in a couple sentences. The FBI and the DOJ had high up folks who broke the rules to spy on the Trump campaign to help Hillary Clinton. After the election they colluded to disrupt an elected president. The Obama administration was heavily involved in unethical behavior. Criminal investigations will follow. Stay tuned please.
At one point Steve said that the Constitution is designed to protect us from [the likes of] Donald Trump. That is entirely incorrect. The Constitution is designed to permit us to elect Donald Trump if we so choose. We so chose.
Now Trump is anti-constitutional? Why is it so difficult for Never Trumpers to climb aboard the bandwagon of a winning team?
My mother is 81 years old. She understands this. It’s not that convoluted. The DC media is making it so, on purpose. Here’s my “elevator speech” (a one-minute explanation), or what I’d tell my drywall guy if he brings it up next week.
“Donald Trump said he would drain the swamp, and the swamp fought back. High-level, Hillary-supporting swamp creatures in the FBI broke the law by using their enormous power to spy on Americans — which is not allowed unless there is evidence that American is planning to harm the United States. And by “harm” I mean violently attack America, like a terrorist, or give this nation’s secrets to a foreign country that hates America. The Hillary fans in the FBI lied to judges so they could spy on people in his campaign. That’s illegal. They did this to support the “Russian Collusion” story, which was cooked up by Hillary after the election, but there’s never been any evidence to support that story. The only scandal here how the FBI has been exposed as a political operation at the highest levels. That’s corrupt. That’s not America. That KGB stuff. And it needs to come to an end.”
10-second version:
Hillary fans in the FBI were shocked that Trump won, and wanted to take him down. So they abused their power and broke the law to prop up the phony “Russian collusion” story. Even after cheating, they came up with nothing. The FBI’s leadership needs to be cleaned out.
It seems like many Democrats are so much in their extreme anti-Trump bubble, they are unaware how their actions look to average voters.
With average voters, when they see a Kennedy and a wrecked car, they think Chappaquiddick.
With average voters, the lowest recorded black unemployment rate is a great news. When the congressional black caucus, who supposedly are looking out for blacks, sit stonefaced, people can see that they are following the “resist” movement, and not wanting to move the country forward.
Average voters could be forgiven for thinking of Ted Kennedy’s son Patrick Kennedy in 2006, who at 2:45 a.m. crashed his car into a barrier at the US Capitol, and didn’t receive any special treatment at all. None. Not one bit, as the New York Times explains:
Just like the rest of us average voters.
This is Seven Days in May — except liberals are supporting the Generals against the President this time!
So are Man Crates what men want, what they really, really want?
