What do you mean no one is talking about The People Vs. Larry Flynt? I just wrote about it.
Sorry about your dog, Steve. This grandma thinks you are a darling.
If you are looking for a podcast that drones on and on and on about all the problems in the world, while never offering a single solution, then this is the podcast for you. The music, which is quite good, is not enough to keep my interest through all the whining.
I’d like to see all your coffee recommendations written out. That said, I drink the bad office coffee out of generic large drip machine, despite the fact that its usually made too strong and therefore bitter, because it’s quick, easy, and cheap – and I’m not gonna change for work.
I love making coffee out of a french press – I think it tastes the best, but I think it’s too much work so I don’t do that at home anymore either. Maybe when I retire…
Hi Steve, my wife and I have a frenchie too; appreciate your description of the breed:-) We refer to his physique as “pony keg”.
“Merry go-round of crazy” – stealing this.
Nirvana and Sonic Youth definitely would make my overrated list. Velvet Underground was the first to come to mind.
If anyone is looking for the @ExJon article on making the perfect cup of coffee, you can find it here: http://ricochet.com/archives/make-perfect-cup-coffee/
I thought he said “merry go round of stupid” which struck me as awesomely right, but “crazy” and “stupid” are so often interchangeable, that may have been just my own brain putting a different word in his mouth! :)
Got off the merry go round of stupid myself months ago but as far as I’m concerned it’s not possible for it to slow down enough to get back on. Get well soon, Furiosa! Sounds like she’s in very good hands.
Really starting to look forward to this podcast every week. Hope Furiosa is on the mend.
FYI if you really want good coffee you should roast it yourself.
I think you’re right – as I typed it “crazy” sounded just a little off.
