Antifa has a violence problem. That mainstream media and selective law enforcement agencies have ignored it, until recently, speaks volumes about their collective idiocy.
I’m hoping things have changed. But if Antifa violence is continually ignored, it’s only a matter of time before there is similar (illegal, violent) push back from some far/alt/neo-nazi “right” nutjob(s).
Some of Antifa’s specific tactics, like being anonymous (masked) and armed, could easily be turned against it. A couple determined neo-nazis who swap swastikas for black masks, clothes, and (hidden, folding stock) AKs could easily infiltrate the riot. Then they just wait for the police to turn tail…
Bottom line, this needs to stop with aggressive policing of all violence.
The appropriate way to deal with Antifa is with conspiracy and RICO statutes. Their leadership have made public statements that the reason behind the identical outfits and masks is to hide the identity of people committing criminal acts. That’s conspiracy. As soon as the first one of them throws their first punch (or commits any other criminal act), you arrest and charge every single one of them.
In addition, Trump should respond to the Whitehouse.gov petition and declare them a terrorist organization. Then you arrest and prosecute George Soros for providing material aid to terrorists
