Former FCC Chairman Ajit Pai

Remember when they repealed Net Neutrality and everyone died? The King of Stuff welcomes former FCC Chairman Ajit Pai to chat about that 2017 hysteria and how the internet actually improved after he repealed Net Neutrality. His biggest critics warned that his action would silence online voices; today those same people are trying to silence whoever disagrees with them. Ajit served as Chairman of the FCC from 2017 to 2021 and served as an FCC commissioner since 2012.

Subscribe to the King of Stuff Spotify playlist featuring picks from the show. This week, Ajit goes with the old blues of Robert Johnson and Blind Lemon Jefferson, and Jon endorses Madison, WI, power-pop band Disq.

Great interview. What a nice guy – it is just insane the way he was vilified but then the Woke mob is often insane. I like what John McWhorter said – just substitute ‘witch’ for whoever and whatever is being attacked and that is the level of discourse.
