Listening to Stephen – Mr. Ad Infinitum – go on a 5 minute rant about the idiots on Twitter who can’t keep their thoughts to 140 characters – whoo boy, my irony meter may be broken beyond repair.
Also, I don’t know enough about Roy Moore or Alabama politics to make an intelligent argument, but the guy wasn’t elected by “the GOP”. Actual people (with actual brains, presumably) voted for him and if they were listening to this podcast and the mocking condescension of what a clueless moron Roy Moore is, I can only imagine they feel like Trump voters did when Hillary called them a basket of deplorables.
Hi Jon, Hi Stephen! One teeny, toony correction: Ms. Phipps Soeiro practices her masterful librarianship in Cambridge, Mass. Springfield, Mass. is the home city of Theodore Seuss “Ted” Geisel, as well as the site of the excellent new Dr. Seuss Museum. Thanks to you guys for keeping me engaged while waiting for my next Uber or Lyft ride in and around UMass Amherst (the institution which awarded a PhD. to Melissa “Muscle” Click for her brilliant thesis on Martha Stewart and feminism).
Roy Moore is Trumpier than Trump and while I understand why people voted for Trump (Hillary), the voters of Alabama were either willfully ignorant or very stupid. Probably both. In any case very worthy of mocking condescension. It does happen you know. In fact, stupid people seem to win most elections.
