In case any of you fine folks wonder on either 11/3/20 or 11/5/24 why Trump was not and will never be impeached. Trump is way too good for their business.
Of course, the psychologists have another word for this: codependency. And it takes something…rather strong to break codependency.
You’re incorrect. You assume just because the media-industerial complex is listed on stock exchanges and are nominally business units, that they’re motivated solely by profit. I think the recent cancellation of “Last Man Standing”, the actions of ESPN, and the sheer number of anti-American war movie box-office bombs that where made in the last decade, would belie this worldview.
The media-industerial complex is in business to modify the culture – the first step in building the socialist dystopian future, is for the general public to imagine it and accept it as their destiny.
Two thoughts: 1. Good to hear you confirm Fox News is in business to “modify the culture.” Rupert Murdoch would be very pleased to hear this. 2. ESPN’s issues stem chiefly from significantly overpaying for the rights to broadcast live sports in the face of people using streaming, cord-cutting, RedZone, and MLB.TV. NONE of the cable/broadcast news nets are close to facing this issue.
As for “Last Man Standing,” people still actually watch ABC at night?
I personally havent watched the show. (being Canadian – American shows get divided up onto the Canadian networks – so we see them out of context of their home network lineup) But when the network cancelled its #2 rated show – viewership wasnt the reason.
At what time do people watch ABC?

– Stephen Miller not only was against the EO “Travel-Ban”, he cheered the courts when they struck it down. What does he say about the leading Republican voice for years in the Senate on immigration enforcement? “Couldn’t give a s___ good or bad what happens to AG Benjamin Button.” Do you have any evidence that Stephen Miller is not open-borders?
What was your reaction to the stream of charges emanating from the Media Left? To ask Sean Hannity on Twitter how he enjoys it in the bunker. You gloating about the charges against Trump. Not pointing out that this is the same garbage that was pulled on George W Bush. Then you guys say on the podcast that if there is a Comey memo, impeachment is on the table.
Saying “by any means necessary” was just exaggerating for effect, but I realize it may have sounded like you guys wish physical harm on Trump, and I know that is not the case. I apologize for that.

One quibble. You were both talking about Trump, and how he makes deals, and how he’s full of, well, bloviations, because that’s how business gets done.
One thing you don’t do in business is overpromise and under-deliver, and you’re conflating a guy who’s been a real estate developer, seeded with daddy money, with someone who’s had to deliver products, goods and services, every day, for decades. They’re not the same thing. They’re not even close to the same thing.
All business isn’t guys with bad hair blowing smoke up tailpipes. It’s not a movie. In the market you deliver, or die. Trump’s failures are just as big as his successes, in that arena, which says a lot about a skillset in real estate development. Meaning a random roll of the dice might be just as effective.
