LondonCalling_AlbumCover_02Live from across the pond (well, almost live) our own James Delingpole and Toby Young analyze and celebrate the vote to exit the European Union, which they both correctly predicted several weeks ago. They cover the implications for Britain and what it may (or may not) mean for the U.S. presidential election.

    It is a fantastic democratic moment, indeed. Congratulations and thank you, Britain, for standing up to a corrupt unelected ruling class. Happy Independence Day!

    James thanks for your effort in retweeting the hysteria. My timeline is full of it. It’s great.

    Great podcast although I couldn’t hear what Toby was saying.

    Toby’s volume was so low this is almost unlistenable.

    Sorry for the technical issue. We’ll re-encode and re-upload this today.

    Update: We’ve re-balanced this file and re-uploaded it and Toby’s track should be louder now. Thanks for the heads up.

    Your joy is infectious…. Congratulations, Britain is still the leading force for democracy and good in the World while America is on hiatus under a Community Organizing radical.

    I appreciate Ricochet and James and Toby providing us with a podcast/discussion so quickly after the vote was known (since the scheduling of some of our other Ricochet podcasts came right before the vote).

    I’ve never felt closer to our British cousins. Good on them for striking a blow for freedom.

    The Muses, still with freedom found,
    Shall to thy happy coast repair;
    Blest Isle! With matchless beauty crown’d,
    And manly hearts to guard the fair.

    “Rule, Britannia! rule the waves:
    “Britons never will be slaves.”

    Skip to about 3:40

    Mazal tov, Gentlemen! Technically, however, I listened on Stitcher, and again, Toby was scarcely audible.

    We don’t control the files in Stitcher (they also often insert extra ads into our shows). I don’t recommend listening to our shows on there.

    I suggest listening to it on the website (i.e., this page). Works on mobile devices also. (Well, I should say, it works on my iPhone).
