In today’s episode, Richard and Adam discuss the Supreme Court’s Thanksgiving-eve order blocking Governor Andrew Cuomo’s COVID-19 rules against religious gatherings — what it says about the justices, and the rule of law, during the pandemic. Then they consider the prospects for post-election litigation making its way to the Supreme Court, and President Trump’s pardon of Michael Flynn.

Basic principle of justice, you don’t get to profit by your wrongdoing. If I took my brother’s candy bar my mother would have smacked me, taken it away, and given it back to my brother. We can’t smack Clinton for pardoning his cronies; the ability to overturn a pardon would negate the power in the first place. What we can do is say “As long as you’re taking unfair advantage then we’ll demand the exact same advantage.”
Yeah, yeah, an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. Thing is, that standard is an advance on the previous standard where the strong man leaves the weak man blind and there’s no earthly recourse. The problem isn’t with the guy taking revenge for the eye-poking; it’s with the guy who poked the eye to begin with. If no penalty is assigned to the first eye-poker then there’s no reason for him to stop poking eyes. Would I prefer a world in which nobody’s eyes get gouged out? Of course. Is that world possible by my acquiescence to wrongdoing from the other side? No.
Boy Adam I’m glad I’m not one of your family members. It’s good to know you could not be browbeat into pleading guilty for something because a family member was threatened with ruin. I’m sorry but if you can’t see the problem with prosecutors going wild, it is very hard to listen to anything else you say.
Adam White is dishonest.
Adam recited a litany of activities by Flynn to justify the investigation of Flynn. However none of those activities that Adam recited were the subject of the investigation that was started by the FBI – in bad faith, and that led to the coerced guilty plea by general Flynn.
Adam White is dishonest.
This is the world that the Democrats have created. Nothing is to be believed. Nothing can be believed. Everything they say is dishonest.
The only rational perspective to take on any information coming from Democrats, news media (but I repeat myself), or government (again I repeat myself) is that it is a lie.
Russia collusion.
Brett Kavanaugh.
All 100% lies.
Nice going, Adam White.
