I would love for Nikki Haley to be appointed to the Senate if Lindsay Graham became the new AG.
Prof. Epstein’s judgment here is rather poor, I think.*
Trump had expressed his extreme dissatisfaction with Jeff Sessions over and over again, but stayed his hand so long because, quite sensibly, he had not wanted to do anything to detract — or distract — from the effort to hold on to the Senate.
Epstein should also remember that the Democrats and their media allies will be attacking Donald Trump in any event, whatever he does.
Incidentally, when people make much of the supposed independence of Attorneys General, I ask them, who was John F. Kennedy‘s AG?
*Given Trump’s enormous political accomplishments, and Epstein‘s nonexistent ones, he should perhaps be a little more humble and tentative when he seeks to give the President political advice.
