This week your hosts provide an update on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation process and discuss several interesting new cases the Court took up this week. Amy interviews Professors Hannah Brenner Johnson and Renee Knake Jefferson about their book “Shortlisted: Women in the Shadows of the Supreme Court.” Lastly Amy shines in trivia about famous lawyers who could have, would have, or should have been on the Supreme Court.

The trivia questions were particularly great this podcast. Well done Amy! The interview with the professors was interesting but too everything through the light of feminism and women struggling, etc. Yes maybe – so far – there have only been 4% women on the Supreme Court but what percentage of people in the US have been on the Supreme Court? 0.0000?  What percentage of women are sitting on courts now? I would just like a more positive view than they presented.
