Mercy Otis Warren was a writer and playwright whose thought informed the American Revolution and the years following. As Thanksgiving of 2024 nears, Brenda Hafera, Assistant Director of the Simon Center for American Studies, here at the Heritage Foundation, thought it appropriate to reflect on Mrs. Warren’s thoughts, particularly those on gratitude.
