Few leaders in modern times have made a larger imprint on American economic policy than former House Majority Leader Dick Armey of Texas. Along with former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, Armey helped engineer the 1994 “Republican Revolution” when the GOP took control of the House for the first time in more than 40 years. Armey was an architect of the bipartisan military base closing initiative, he was the leading sponsor of the Flat Tax, and, as House Majority Leader, he helped design the fiscal blueprint that balanced the federal budget for the first and only time in the last 50 years.

Join Heritage, The Committee to Unleash Prosperity, and Representative Dick Armey as conservative leaders reflect on Armey’s incredible contributions to the movement, how he and others managed the “Republican Revolution” of 1994, and what to consider looking ahead to the midterm elections. Former Texas Senator Phil Gramm, Heritage founder and former president Ed Feulner, and others take the stage. You won’t want to miss it!
