In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
Welcome to the Harvard Lunch Club Political Podcast for August 11, 2017 it’s the Vive La Difference edition of the podcast with your hosts, nanoscientist Mike Stopa, and, would you believe it? co-host and Smart Girl Extraordinaire Teri Christoph! But then, where’s Todd??? Wish we knew. He is off on a soul-finding three month journey of non-stop silence in the Peruvian jungle, on a diet of roasted banana peels and tropical bird sushi. We expect him back next week.
In the meantime, Mike and Teri get to bubble our way through topics ludicrous and absurd for your listening pleasure. Look, the vibe is a little different than usual. I, for one, had a fabulous time.
But ok, Todd is coming back and we hope you will all write in and say how much you miss him!
Teri and I will discuss the Google -> Goolog memo of James Damore. Can’t *anyone* insult *anyone* anymore? What happened to the days that we all laughed at 1. Italians, 2. Irish, 3. fat girls, 4. Helen Keller? How about we start a new rash of dead baby jokes? At your computer now? Leave us your favorite dead baby joke, okay?
Then, back to nuclear armageddon. Ugh. Teri livens things up with a fashion report on Mrs. Pork fu Kim. Move over Melania! Seriously, we have some interesting suggestions for our President.
We will have (you thought we *wouldn’t*?!?!?) our shower thoughts and our hidden gem for the week is from Blood, Sweat and Tears, the album “Blood Sweat and Tears 3” and the cut “Hi-De-Ho.” Enjoy!
And while you are here at the end, please go to our webpage and drop us a few bucks to let us know that you love us! The donation page is here. Thanks!

I hate feminism.
Moi aussi. Feminists are the worst.
But they can be so cute when they get angry.
You are a very bad man. ;)
Enjoyed the podcast this week. Ms. Christoph brought a certain je ne sais quoi to the proceedings.
Conservative women aren’t innocent when it comes to feminism.
Hmmmmm. What does *that* mean outlaws?
That they invoke it when it is useful to them and then condemn when they want props from conservatives.
Whoa! Sounds like fighting words, eh Teri? But that’s not “conservative women” outlaws. That’s *women*!!
For instance, you do not have to like Corey Lewandowski or any of his actions, but that letter written by conservative feminists was beyond the pale. To call that assault and to try and ruin Lewandowski was disingenuous. Lewandowski’s actions were no where near assault, all he did was stop a reporter from getting to close to Trump. So either because of Trump or some other reason, 16 supposedly conservative women went out of their way to invoke feminism, misrepresent the occurrence, and destroy a man that at least in that instance did nothing wrong.
I agree with you, outlaws! I was against that letter, it was a mistake for those ladies to issue it and it had zero impact.
What?! It seems to me you don’t know many conservative women.
Teri is wonderful but Todd is irreplaceable.
