You can have your mind-altering experiences. I’ll keep my self-awareness, thank you very much.
I am one of the few , the proud , the listeners or maybe just THE listener. Anyway the Democrats always have several long games in mind. Let’s say Kavanaugh gets on the court, in just a few years talking heads will be casually referring to him as having been ‘credibly’ accused of rape in high school. If they can’t win then they just Shiite all over everything. Harry Reid comes ‘ He didn’t win did he?’
Shut up Feinberg! We want more Stopa rambling!
Sapiens was good at first but it got way too noble-savage-hero-worshiping towards the end.
The purpose of the mind altering experiences would be enhanced self-awareness.
Shut up Hank, I’ve had 3 years of his rambling. I could assemble a loop for you?
Hank, stick to your guns. Feinburg knows that my ramblings are HLC’s secret sauce.
On hidden gems last week, I thought I heard you say Gilbert O’Sullivan and not Gilbert and Sullivan. Thankfully he is still hidden.
I say stick with the Gilbert & Sullivan – although perhaps they were using when they wrote some of the, er, more interesting operettas. A lot of dream sequences if you know what I mean. Enjoyable podcast as usual.
My tendency is not to ‘believe’ Professor Ford for a number of reasons. Definitely one is that she went to the very preppy Holton Arms – maybe even preppier than Georgetown Prep. I grew up in the DC area and those ladies tended to be idiots. The fact that the Professor ended up in California teaching psychology just proves the idiot part. (Sorry to any smart HA ladies there may be out there but you have to prove to me you can think your way out of paper bag before I’ll listen to you.)
Do I smell a special edition of the podcast? The All Stopa Rambling Edition?
