Don’t accuse Robin Roberts of bias in her interview of Jussie Smollett.
Accuse her of bad journalism. Call the feature “The Media Duncecap”.
Ironically, as a gay woman of color, Roberts was in a position to ask tough questions of Smollett.
Compare her situation to that of Savannah Guthrie in her wet-kisses interview of Nathan Phillips, Native American activist and fake Vietnam veteran. If Guthrie had asked him any tough questions, Phillips would have called “racism” down on her, stalked out of the interview, and she would have been in a lot of trouble.
