Beto’s hacking history, Beto’s feet, Beto’s poems: It seems like the whole world revolves around Beto. But should a Reuters reporter have held the story about his history as a teenage hacker? And should lady journalists be gushing over his [checks notes] feet and teeth?

I’m on Team Liz re: Beto. I’ve been looking forward to their take down of the Reuters story.
The hero of Dune, Paul Atreides, is partly modeled after Lawrence of Arabia, so perhaps the choice of the excessively wispy Timothée Chalamet to play him in next year’s big budget version has a certain logic.
The guys are right, though, to predict audiences will have a hard time seeing him as a great leader and conqueror: the character of Paul Atreides is also based on Mohammed.
Given that Jason Momoa has been cast as Duncan Idaho, with any luck that character will take over the movie.

“The responsibility of leadership weighs on O’Rourke’s sweaty shoulders like a pile of heavy metaphors. He’s sweating less than he did in summer, when his sweat dropped down like rain upon a parched prairie — as so many droplets of hope. Back then, O’Rourke was running to save the soul of Texas, to stand up as a representative of his people and all the state’s Latinos against the dangerous tide of white nationalism represented by incumbent Republican Ted Cruz. …”
