In their debut episode, Christina and Danielle reminisce about how they first met: in a TV studio before a debate with the founder of modern feminism, Betty Friedan. Christina smoked, Danielle did a shot, and Betty lunged at them over the podium. That’s when they knew they would be BFFs. Featured cocktail: Kir Royale.

I enjoyed this immensely and look forward to listening to more podcasts. Christina in particular is a girl after my own heart. I too am an old hippie (will turn sixty-five in August, fates willing) who’s still interested in more freedom,  choice, and mind-blowing thinking about the cosmos and religion. I never signed up to be a PC New Ager attached like velcro to the rump side of the Democratic party. Unfortunately, most of the people I know (I happen to be gay) have, so it’s great to hear two fun-loving, engaging, and comically deeply serious ladies talk real life.
