I enjoyed DoJ. It wasn’t great. But it was good.
Batman wins by adopting and applying Lex Luthor’s idea that humanity needs a defense against Superman. Which is a logical idea.
I saw at the time people mocking the rapprochment of Bruce and Clark over both their mothers being named Martha. Well, my mother’s name was Martha, and let me tell you, if I was about to kill Superman and I found out that he had a mother (well, named anything, but especially Martha) then I sure as hell wouldn’t kill him. That was the truest scene in the entire movie. It’s when Batman realizes that Superman has humanity.
