    I thought conservatives had too much economic literacy to endorse a minimum wage.   Which eliminates low wage jobs, rather than requiring anybody to get a raise.

    The result is jobs shifted from the young and the poor, to well-off programmers, electricians and engineers, who will build and maintain the automated machinery that will replace those unskilled workers.
