I thought that was the gist of her criticism, not that she liked strip clubs and conservatives don’t.
Paglia is certainly an interesting person. I cannot say that I have ever read any of her books as just a bit too long for the subject.
Camille Paglia may be a symbol of the dumbing down of academia, but I doubt she is the cause. The cause was college instructors trying to offer elective courses that students would sign up for.
