After a 1,700 mile long road trip, Salena is back home in Pittsburgh, her home city. Pittsburgh always finds a way into the national spotlight, such as Trump’s comment during his speech pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord, and Salena and her guests are here to discuss why that is. For everything politics and Pittsburgh, Examining Politics and Salena Zito are the place to be.

Just listened to the podcast. I am hungry for a chipped ham sandwich washed down by a Iron. One thing I disagree is about Pittsburgh being dirty. I have 15 years on you and Rich and I remember how nasty the air and water was in the 40,50,and 60’s. we can now be proud of the clean up but I wonder if it would have happened without the collapse of the steel industry. I was in my twenties before I know there were stars at night and what is a little orange water with raw sewage flowing in it amongst friends. BTW I am a graduate of the first four year class at Point Park in 1967. I love the way yinz say Pittsburgh. I haven’t lived there for 20 years but it is still home.
