On today’s EXAMINING POLITICS, Larry O’Connor speaks with Cassie Smedile, the Department Communications Director for the RNC, about the Trump campaign and the RNC’s initiative to stop a law requiring the release of tax returns in order to appear on California’s primary ballot. Terrific podcast! Sounds like there’s a strong Constitutional case against the California law intended to force Donald Trump to reveal his tax returns.

On guns, as on most issues, conservatives accept the playing field marked out by liberals, and the rules established by liberals.

When a mass shooting occurs, conservatives’ response should be something like, “That’s every ten days in Chicago”, or whatever the appropriate figure would be.

And when liberals howl that they are changing the subject, conservatives should be ready.

They should respond that they are preventing liberals from sweeping the real violence problem under the rug. Because black lives matter, even when they are not useful to the Left.

The Minnesota Democrat legislators voted against increased penalties for lying under red flag laws. It didn’t pass.
