Erick says the Rush never tells people who to vote for, but he has never hidden his views about candidates. Did anyone think that Rush favored Ross Perot or John McCain given the way he ridiculed them? I waited for Rush to ridicule or at least criticize Trump since Trump had been on both sides of every issue over the years, but he never did so. Instead, he referred to Trump reverently as “Mr. Trump.” Rush conceded that Ted Cruz was the most conservative candidate in the Republican primary but he favored “Mr. Trump” anyway, and at that point I quit listening to the self-described “Mr. Conservative.”
