Where is this talking point coming from that says there’s no such thing as an assault rifle? This is second place and third different person I have heard make that assertion. It is blatantly false, because assault rifles have been a well-established category of firearms since the mid-twentieth century. Since our side of the debate is always complaining that the left doesn’t know what they’re talking about when it comes to guns, we better not be making false statements ourselves.
