How did corporate media become so biased and corrupt, and why isn’t it being held accountable?

Corporate media exists “to support corrupt regimes,” Mollie Hemingway, editor-in-chief of The Federalist, says.

She is optimistic because “a lot of people have lost trust in corporate media in recent years, [and] that’s a good thing,” Hemingway says. “It’s bad if people believe the propaganda.”

Hemingway joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to discuss the state of the media today and to share her reaction to President Joe Biden’s nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

Also on today’s show, Rep. Mark Green, R-Tenn., explains what he saw in Ukraine a week before Russia invaded.

We also cover President Joe Biden’s first State of the Union address.

Enjoy the show!

Congressman Mark Green is the first person I’ve heard explore an analogy that occurred to me sometime ago, to the administration of John F. Kennedy.

John F. Kennedy was basically a mediocrity, elected by his father’s brilliance, but further impaired by heavy use of legal drugs that, we now know, are mood-altering medications.

Joe Biden is basically a mediocrity, elected by Big Tech, but further impaired by old age.

JFK came across as a wimp to the Soviet leader, Nikita Khrushchev, whom he let walk all over him, first with the building of the Berlin Wall, and then the Bay of Pigs fiasco.   Which, for 50 years or more, was blamed on the CIA, but which we now know was entirely JFK’s cowardice.

Joe Biden came across as a wimp to the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, whose interests Biden served by raising the price of oil, abandoning Afghanistan, and removing the sanctions on the Nordstream 2 pipeline.

JFK finally stood up to Khrushchev in the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Congressman Green hopes Biden will finally stand up to Putin in the Ukraine invasion crisis.
