    Excellent podcast, as usual! 

    The discussion about splitting California into three pieces gave rise to the following thought.  

    Instead of trying to elect state-wide candidates, or retake the state legislature, both probably out of reach, conservatives and Republicans in California should concentrate on ballot propositions, to enact the more popular parts of the conservative agenda directly.
