Here’s What It Takes to Turn a Conservative into a Liberal

Stories for you today: Net neutrality supporters have taken to issuing death threats; Nikki Haley tells to China to cut off oil to North Korea … or else; and, yes, your Amazon Echos and Google Homes are watching you. Plus, Christian Toto stops by to preview movies coming out in December. (Yes, there are movies other than Star Wars!) Question of the Day: Why are you a conservative?

I guess pie is so good, we have to celebrate it twice!

Whatever happened to Cake Day? Or Ice Cream Day? I like pie, but I could really go for Ice Cream Day!!

As far as why I am a conservative: I wrote a few posts, trying to do explain that. But, basically, here it is: God made us as individuals, not members of groups, in my estimation. I believe He demands of us that we treat people that way: As Individuals. Conservatism is all about that. It is also about people growing and learning. What you learn from liberalism is dependency.

Now, it is time for some pumpkin pie and ice cream!

    Have a good weekend, Teri!!

I am a Bad Penny, Teri: Always show up! So this is why I am here again:

I wrote the first comments before I heard the complete Podcast. Your talk of animation made me come back. I, too, stay from much of it. However…… While Pixar is good, did you ever see Disney’s monumental Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, from 1937? It was amazing for any day, but, especially for ’37!! Imagine, no computers!! I tell you, I am in awe of the raw talent it took to make that movie. If you’d not seen it, I got my DVD from Target. It even has a code, where you can also watch it on the computer. And there are two disks. The regular story on both. But the Blu Ray one has a lot of background: What it took to make the movie, some deleted stuff, etc. I think this was one of the best movies ever made, animation or not!

Correction: today is national fried pie day – like those frosted Hostess hot-pocket abominations.

The national regular pie day is January 23.
