    Rich,

I want to congratulate you a fine first episode and a terrific guest choice. Eric touched on what I think are the most salient aspects of the cryptocurrency phenomenon: the frankly outrageous computational expense, the lack of practical utility, the Ponzi-esque quality of the Bitcoin economy, the effective lack of anonymity implied by reliance on cryptocurrency brokers, and the ultimate unsustainability of Bitcoin’s current proof-of-work mechanism.

I applaud you for choosing such a level-headed guest for your inaugural podcast.
