JPod is correct. Trump needs to be impeached.
Uh, he already was. It was in all the papers.
Perhaps you could wait two weeks.
…
It’s going be a long couple of years or months as the narrow sliver of Never Trumpers try to force every conservative and Republican to get their minds right — by any means necessary.
Impeached and removed so he can’t run for office again.
He can be impeached again. And this time he should be removed and never be allowed near the government again.
Trumpers seem to have a lot of enemies. When everyone is against you, maybe you’re wrong.
I’ve actually voted for Mitt Romney three times as much as Donald Trump, and I’ve never lived in Utah or Michigan.
I’m actually a rather moderate guy in some ways. How many of Missouri’s 114 counties and the city of St. Louis voted for Mitt Romney in the 2012 primary? Zero. All 115 jurisdictions voted for Rick Santorum, 55.23% over 25.33% for Mitt Romney. Missouri also had a caucus that year due to state laws. Santorum carried 83 counties, Romney 17. However, Romney won over twice as many delegates, Romney 31, Santorum 13. In 2008, Romney finished third in Missouri, winning 12 of 115 counties or jurisdictions.
Missouri is also a rather moderate state as it would have been the most populous non-home state (Cruz won Texas; Kasich won Ohio) NOT to vote for Trump if only 983 Trump voters had voted for Ted Cruz.
Look at the week of April 19-26, 2016. In those eight days, 168 counties and the independent city of Baltimore held a primary. How many of those 169 jurisdictions did not vote for Donald Trump? One — Never Trump Manhattan Island. What were Trump vote percentages just outside of Never Trump Manhattan Island? Staten Island 81.09%, 71.67% Suffolk County, and 67.17% Nassau County.
People in rural America just want to be able to work and be left alone. They don’t want handouts, but tariffs can be necessary sometimes. For example, when Obama entered office China had twice as much aluminum smelters as the United States. When Obama left office China had about 40 times as many with some smelters being five time larger than anything in the United States. That’s not really great for national security purposes among other reasons. Almost no other Republican was going to stand up to China or certain other groups.
The Washington Post called for Trump’s impeachment the day he was inaugurated on January 20, 2017. Others called for his impeachment even before that! None of the impeachment stuff is believable in any way. It’s just Never Trump hatred that has boiled constantly every minute of the day for 5 1/2 years.
If the Never Trumpers want to form their own Evan McMullin Party, go ahead. However, there will be a bad fight otherwise.
Dishonest from the start.
I get you hate the President — you’ve made that clear for four years. But 1) this was not an “insurrection,” and 2) he did not “stage” it. You are dishonest people and you should find honest work. Like cleaning out stables somewhere.
I think “insurrection” is a bit overblown. But a Republican President incited a Republican mob to attack the US Capitol which resulted in the murder of a police officer.
It will now be difficult for Republicans to be taken seriously when they talk about patriotism and law and order.
Even this Democrat can’t find incitement:
