I agree.  The Commentary Podcast is an irredeemable mess.

I think, unfortunately, that Trump messed this up badly. Biden did what he had to do just barely. I am sorry to say that Trump will lose and so will the country.

I’d suggest people go listen to a more “blue collar” pundit like a Dan Bongino and compare and contrast and find the “happy middle” vs. professionals.  I think Bongino had good points about Trump’s strategy while the Commentary types think he was trying to persuade

Find a podcast that overly praises and one that’s overly critical and find your nice center

on climate change, why can’t Trump and other republicans simply say it is very likely caused by human activity but that there is nothing the US can do to reduce it on a global level.

Particularly if global climate agreements like the Paris Accords continue to give China and India a free pass to pollute as they see fit.

I wish people would take up the mantra that “Climate Change” is a natural process that humans only marginally contribute too, and that its far cheaper to adapt in the future, than to attempt to mitigate unknown possibilities today.

Ummm, because it is not true.  “Climate change caused by human activity”, even for millions of years when there were no humans?  How does THAT work?  The climate is always changing, and there is no such thing as equilibrium in this natural system.  Maybe it is reasonable to say that recent human activity MAY contribute to changes in the atmosphere and global temperature, but there is currently no (legitimate) way to determine the magnitude of any contribution.
