Many of Donald Trump’s opponents have given up reason and circumspection and are indulging in hysteria, assured that standard operating procedure for a new administration is creeping fascism.
Also, the hosts dig into Donald Trump’s executive orders on immigration and refugees and wonder if Team Trump is recognizing the infeasibility of the president’s campaign trail pledges.

I am rather concerned that the left doesn’t care about freedom of speech.
In regards the IRS leaking info on Trump’s tax returns and the effect that would have on privacy in this country, it’s almost as if the Commentary podcasters have forgotten about Illinois senate races and sealed court records.
Even when I joined the AF in 1978, we had strict rules on talking to the media. The Public Affairs office was the only official path unless one had permission. The fact we have Twitter now does not change the rules. Posting personal opinions and political agendas on official government Twitter pages should be banned. I even have a problem with the workers creating the alt National Park Service Twitter accounts to post their political opinions because they state they are doing it as disgruntled NPS workers who disagree with the President. They should create personal Twitter accounts to voice their opinions.
On the Alaskan National Review cruise in 2015, the Glacier Bay park ranger did a great job pointing out wildlife and explaining how the receding glacier had opened up habitable land, enabling wildlife to flourish. Near the end of the lecture, she commented that global warming was causing the glaciers to melt and it would be a shame if we didn’t take action because future generations would not be able to enjoy Glacier Bay. I assumed at the time that some Obama administration nut had required them to spread this propaganda. After the NPS workers pulled their Twitter stunts this week, I find it harder to trust them. I see them as politicized as the EPA. This is the sort of backlash Trump’s order is trying to prevent.
