Ricochet is the best place on the internet to discuss the issues of the day, either through commenting on posts or writing your own for our active and dynamic community in a fully moderated environment. In addition, the Ricochet Audio Network offers over 50 original podcasts with new episodes released every day.
John Podhoretz, Abe Greenwald, and Noah Rothman as we explore—with vim and vigor and the best words, really, some of the best, even if Abe mispronounces “personage”—the past week. The attacks on the parents of dead soldiers, the attacks on Republicans, the talk of un-endorsements, and every crazy possibility you could imagine. It’s funny. It’s funny because it’s true.

I am so happy for this new episode.
Also, John, your Twitter feed is amazing.
I haven’t listened yet but the title is worth its weight in gold!
Give JPod credit. Trump’s campaign, which seems to be plotted by the Will Ferrell/John C. Reilly characters from Stepbrothers, is giving Podhoretz one of the biggest “I told you so” moments in recent conservative history.
And he is telling us so with no recognizable enjoyment or satisfaction whatsoever.
Guess the guy just loves his country and conservatism and is heartbroken.
He also penned the most cogent 2012 post-mortem, not that anyone cared to listen.
John Podhoretz, please stop interrupting Noah Rothman!
I always believed that the majority of @realdonaldtrump supporter were all about burning down the whole system, regardless of the havoc that will cause. “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!!”. The @Trumpkins now will get what they want. The Republicans will be severely damaged. The conservative movement will be homeless. HRC will enshrine everything the @Trumpkins hate. If you like big government, if you like more regulation, if like a sluggish economy – “America Will Be Great Again”
Saying “I told you so” is no great pleasure, believe me.
John, true that Abe mispronounced “personage,” but you missed “obeisance.” It’s “obaysance.”
Otherwise the show was great, as usual.
Also (not to quibble), but “macabre” can also be pronounced \məkäb\ or \mekäbrə\ depending on whether you prefer British or American English. John apparently prefers the latter!
