Afghanistan has worked well for Biden. There has been no bad news since the withdrawal fiasco, no terror attacks on the US, the predicted chaos in that country has not come to pass. Compare to the number of American soldiers who would have been killed in the last year if the Commentary plan to maintain a military presence and continue to prop up the government had been followed.
It is obvious that Biden will not run for reelection. The analysis should be to ask how he would govern if he did announce he would only serve one term. It would be an extended lame duck presidency where other political leaders negotiate with the successor and ignore the President.
California is doing great in terms of state finances. And the state does not have mass shootings, no protests against the police, no black inner city crime and decay. Big tech, Hollywood, social media are not leaving the state. Newsome is tall, good looking, young, attractive family, more moderate than radical left.
Gavin Newsome is a left-wing idiot. He wants the CA taxpayer to pay for abortions for women from other states.
And we have black inner city crime and decay in Oakland, Compton, South Central – now just called South – L.A., the watts area of L.A., and Long Beach.
This month marks 3 years since a shooting at a garlic festival in Gilroy, near San Jose. Maybe you’ve forgotten horrific shootings in San Bernardino, Thousand Oaks, 10 killed in San Jose last year, and a recent one in a Taiwanese church in Orange County.
I’ve never understood why people think Eliana Johnson has any talent or insight. Maybe it’s just the fact that her father is one of the PowerLine founders. It’s probably fitting she hosts a podcast with the complete waste of time Chris Stirewalt who apparently is very skilled at failing up after he disgraced himself and was fired by Fox.
And for Eli to describe Trump as a “delusional tyrant” just shows how delusional he himself has become due to a chronic case of TDS. Lake used to be so sane but I guess his is another brain that has been ruined by the Orange Man.
Well at least John is still admitting that Max Boot is completely insane. That’s a start. Oops, I take that back. I see John still thinks the vaccines are effective. Unbelievable.
yes, I thought that was interesting also. But no reconsideration of foreign policy goals. Afghanistan has not descended into chaos as predicted. Yet Commentary, Frum, Boot, Bret Stephens – none of them have reconsidered what they said would be a terrible loss for the US by leaving Afg.
